Dik-Dik (#76)
Dik-Dik (de: Zwergantilope) are tiny antilopes, which live in eastern and southern Africa. When I say tiny, I mean it, they might not even reach up to your knee.
They have a very conservative lifestyle: Dik-Diks live monogamously and usually stay together with their partner for their entire life. They have one offspring at a time. When the kid is ready to leave their parent's territory, the Dik-Dik-Dad runs off his son and the Dik-Dik-Mom runs off the daughter.
Dik-Diks can make a whistle-like sound when they feel threatened. Their name, Dik-Dik, is an onomatopoetic word referencing this warning call.
Don't know what onomatopoetic means? Or maybe you know the term and you think all other sounds are arbitrary? I'll have both of you covered.
